As Gertrude Stein famously said, “America is my country and Paris is my hometown.” At the risk of sounding a bit snobbish, I have to agree. I first traveled to Paris nearly twenty years ago, now (is that really possible?!). The city immediately captivated me- my imagination, my heart and my vision– and has been a strong source of inspiration for me ever since. Karissa Van Tassel Photography was “born” there when I lived there more recently and a return visit always prompts a new series for the fine art collection. In an effort to share the beauty and inspiration I see in the world, I will be posting pieces from the fine art collection on the blog. These works are available for purchase in The Left Bank, my online gallery, or in the New Haven, Connecticut, studio. In the meantime, please feel free to refer to them for your own inspiration, pin them to your Pinterest pages, and look at them to remind you of the incredible beauty in the world. Bon voyage.
To order any of these prints- or to see the rest of Karissa’s fine art collection, visit her online gallery, The Left Bank.
