It is always flattering when I’m asked to photograph someone- the fact that they trust me to capture their image- often before they’ve even met me- is something I take very seriously. Ironically, then, the sessions themselves are very relaxed, and often fun. It is only when my clients are able to relax that I am able to capture their personality- instead of just their “camera-ready smile.” I had a great time recently walking around campus photographing Dr. Anne Higonnet, someone who studies portraiture.
